About the role
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Administrator to join our growing team at Welbeck Cambridge.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the centre of operations and takes pride in delivering an exceptional service. Working closely with consultants, clinical teams and operational colleagues, you'll play an important role in ensuring guest pathways run smoothly, appointments are coordinated efficiently and every guest receives the high standard of care and attention that Welbeck is known for.
As a Senior Administrator, you'll act as a trusted point of expertise within your service area, supporting complex imaging and diagnostic pathways while helping colleagues deliver consistently excellent administrative support. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to service improvements, share your knowledge with others and play a key role in the continued success of the centre.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating complex imaging, diagnostic and outpatient bookings
- Supporting the management of guest pathways from referral through to treatment
- Working closely with clinical teams to maximise clinic utilisation and operational efficiency
- Monitoring workflow activity and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Providing guidance and day-to-day support to Administrators within your service area
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with governance and compliance standards
- Supporting billing and administrative processes where required
- Building positive relationships with guests, consultants, clinicians and external stakeholders
- Contributing to service improvement initiatives and helping shape best practice across the centre

About you
You are an organised, proactive and highly professional administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and exceptional service are equally important. You thrive on building strong relationships, solving problems and ensuring every task is completed accurately and efficiently.
Ideally, you'll have experience within healthcare administration, diagnostics, imaging or another complex service environment, together with the confidence to manage competing priorities and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously. You understand the importance of confidentiality, take pride in delivering outstanding service and are committed to creating a positive experience for every guest.
You'll bring strong organisational and communication skills, confidence using a range of systems, and a collaborative approach that enables you to work effectively with both clinical and non-clinical colleagues. Most importantly, you'll be someone who genuinely cares about quality, takes ownership of your work and is motivated by making a meaningful difference every day.

Recruitment Process
For this role, there will potentially be three stages;
- Stage 1 – Shortlisting
- Stage 2 – Screening Call
- Stage 3 – Interview Assessment (Face to Face)
