Senior Admissions Advisor

The Senior Admissions Advisor is a key role within Saïd Business School’s Academic Programmes team, which is responsible for supporting the seamless delivery of a high-quality student experience across the School’s degree programmes. The role coordinates and delivers admissions, recruitment and yield activities in line with agreed policies, procedures and frameworks, providing expert advice and guidance to applicants and colleagues and ensuring a high-quality, confidential and efficient service.

Working with a high degree of autonomy, the post-holder manages priorities, identifies and resolves operational issues throughout the admissions cycle, and collaborates closely with colleagues across the School and wider University. As part of the wider Academic Programmes team, the role also contributes to programme delivery activities and supports an excellent student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end admissions process, ensuring applications, applicant communications and admissions activity are managed accurately, efficiently and in line with University policies, procedures and GDPR requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to applicants, offer holders, faculty and colleagues, and identify and resolve operational issues arising throughout the admissions cycle.
  • Coordinate selection and interview activity, including interview arrangements, documentation and processes supporting academic decision-making.
  • Manage post-offer administration, including offer documentation, conditions, confirmations, CAS and financial declarations, while maintaining accurate admissions data and student records.
  • Support recruitment and yield activities, representing the School at events and contributing to applicant communications, recruitment materials and activities that support progression from application to enrolment.
  • Contribute to admissions projects, events, continuous improvement and wider programme delivery, working collaboratively across the Academic Programmes team and providing operational support as required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
