Altrad Senior Adoption Specialist

Altrad are currently recruiting for a Senior Adoption Specialist to join our Digital Adoption team based in Middlesbrough.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring new digital solutions, systems, processes and ways of working are successfully introduced, adopted and embedded across Altrad. Working alongside the Insights and Digital Delivery teams, the Adoption team takes new solutions through the final stages of implementation and into successful business use. The Senior Adoption Specialist will lead adoption activity across complex and high-profile deployments, working closely with business teams and senior stakeholders to ensure solutions are ready, users are prepared and change is successfully embedded.

Key Deliverables

Digital Adoption & Implementation

  • Lead adoption activities across significant digital and business transformation programmes.
  • Develop and deliver adoption and business readiness plans.
  • Work closely with Insights and Digital Delivery to transition delivered solutions into business use.
  • Understand the impact of new systems, processes and ways of working on people and operational teams.
  • Ensure solutions are ready for adoption and aligned with business requirements and the Altrad Way of Working.

ERP Adoption

  • Bring strong practical experience of ERP adoption and implementation to the Adoption team.
  • Support ERP deployments, upgrades and changes through readiness, Go-Live, hypercare and transition into BAU.
  • Work with business and project teams to ensure ERP users and processes are ready for change.
  • Support user validation, readiness assessments and Go/No-Go activities.
  • Identify and address adoption risks associated with ERP changes.
  • Share ERP adoption knowledge and best practice across the wider Adoption team.

Business Readiness & Go-Live

  • Lead stakeholder engagement and business readiness activities.
  • Coordinate readiness assessments and ensure actions are completed ahead of Go-Live.
  • Work with the wider Adoption team to coordinate training, communications and user engagement.
  • Support Go-Live and hypercare activities, helping resolve adoption issues and embed new ways of working.
  • Ensure a structured transition into BAU following implementation.

Adoption & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor adoption and identify where further intervention or support is required.
  • Use user feedback, business insight and adoption measures to improve outcomes.
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to the continual improvement of Altrad's adoption approach.
  • Promote consistent adoption practices and best practice across Digital and the wider business.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

  • Act as a senior point of contact for business stakeholders throughout adoption and implementation.
  • Build strong relationships across Digital, operational and functional teams.
  • Lead complex or high-profile adoption activities involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and expertise to other members of the Adoption team.
  • Support the Adoption Lead in developing and embedding the wider adoption approach.

Key Requirements / Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Digital Adoption, Change Management, Business Transformation or a related discipline.
  • Practical experience of ERP adoption and implementation.
  • Experience leading the adoption of systems, technology, processes or new ways of working.
  • Strong experience of business readiness, implementation and Go-Live activities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, readiness assessments and Go/No-Go activities.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities across complex programmes.
  • A collaborative and pragmatic approach to embedding sustainable change.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other enterprise ERP platforms.
  • Experience working across multiple business units, regions or countries.
  • Experience within Engineering, Construction, Energy or Industrial Services.
  • Experience coordinating training and communications as part of a wider adoption programme.
  • Relevant Change Management, Project Management, Digital or ERP qualifications.
  • Experience working within Agile or Waterfall delivery environments.
