Introducing the Trainline Media Team 👋
Trainline Media has proven advertiser demand and is now focused on building a larger, more predictable, and repeatable sales engine. This role is central to that next phase, improving how the team plans, prioritises, and manages sales performance so that sellers are focused on the right advertisers, generating high-quality opportunities, and taking the actions needed to deliver revenue goals.
You will act as the commercial operating partner to Trainline Media's sales leadership and sales team, working backwards from revenue targets to define the pipeline, prospecting, and sales activity required to deliver the plan. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role with no direct reports, where success depends on combining rigorous analysis with strong commercial judgement, and on influencing experienced sellers without managing them directly. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Client Success to remove barriers to revenue.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
