About the job

Senior Agency Consultant – Hurst Media Agency (Shoreditch, London)

This is a new business role focused on generating pipeline and closing revenue across multi-channel media campaigns.

We are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running, with experience in media, agency or strong outbound sales environments. This is not an entry-level role and requires confidence in building pipeline, speaking to decision makers and delivering revenue.

Hurst Media Agency is a full-service, direct response advertising agency, managing budgets across a wide range of industries.

We work with leading media owners including News UK, Mail Metro Media, Guardian Media Group and Global, delivering campaigns across print, digital, outdoor and broadcast.

Our focus is simple: delivering strong commercial outcomes for our clients through effective media planning, buying and campaign execution.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Agency, Senior Agency Consultants are experienced sales professionals responsible for generating revenue through new business development, supported by client growth and retention.

This is a hands-on, commercially focused new business role. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging decision makers and selling media solutions across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation – Identify and qualify new business opportunities using internal data, market insight and outbound activity
  • Outbound Sales – Build pipeline through consistent outreach across phone, email and LinkedIn
  • New Business Development – Sell agency-led media solutions across multiple channels and media owners
  • Client Management – Build and develop relationships to drive repeat business and long-term value
  • Campaign Delivery – Work closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns are executed effectively
  • CRM Management – Maintain accurate pipeline, activity and forecasting within the CRM
  • Commercial Performance – Achieve and exceed revenue targets and activity KPIs
  • Pipeline Ownership – Take responsibility for building and managing your own pipeline from day one

Essential Experience

  • Proven track record in media, agency or high-performance B2B sales
  • Experience selling campaign-led or multi-channel solutions
  • Strong understanding of press, digital, OOH or broadcast media (or transferable equivalent)
  • Comfortable generating own pipeline through outbound activity
  • Able to operate independently and deliver revenue from day one
  • Experience working to and exceeding revenue targets

Remuneration

  • Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
  • OTE: £60,000 – £70,000+ Uncapped
