Role: Senior Agentic AI Engineer
Location: London, UK
Type: Contract


Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Agentic AI Engineer with software engineering experience and a proven track record of delivering at least one Agentic AI solution into production. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building AI agent systems using modern frameworks, strong software engineering fundamentals, and hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade Agentic AI applications for production environments.
  • Build intelligent multi-agent workflows using LangChain, LangGraph (1.2.x), DeepAgents, and Azure AI Foundry.
  • Develop scalable backend services and user-facing applications using Python and React.
  • Apply software engineering best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture.
  • Leverage AI coding assistants such as Claude Code to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
  • Optimize, monitor, and continuously improve AI agent performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience delivering at least one Agentic AI application to production.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • LangChain
    • LangGraph (1.2.x)
    • DeepAgents
    • Azure AI Foundry
  • Strong proficiency in Python and React.
  • Hands-on experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code.
  • Excellent understanding of:
    • Test-Driven Development (TDD)
    • SOLID principles
    • Object-Oriented Design
    • Design Patterns
    • Clean and scalable software architecture
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building enterprise-scale AI applications with cloud-native architectures.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and production monitoring for AI systems.
