Bactrix 🔬
Bactrix 🔬 is an early-stage AI startup building next-generation intelligent systems for scientific research. We are looking for a highly technical Senior Agentic AI Engineer to join as an early contributor and help shape our core technology.
This role is for someone who is passionate about building, not just experimenting.
What you'll do:
- Design and build autonomous AI agents and multi-agent systems.
- Develop production-quality Python applications.
- Integrate LLMs with tools, APIs, RAG, memory, and workflows.
- Build scalable AI backends and automation pipelines.
- Collaborate directly with the founder on product architecture and technical strategy.

Requirements:
- Senior-level software engineering experience.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK, or similar).
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, MCP, APIs, and AI orchestration.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.
