Senior Agile Delivery Lead: 6 Month Contract - West Midlands/Hybrid

Type: 6 Month Contract

Day Rate: Market Rates (Outside IR35)

Location: West Midlands/Hybrid

About the Role:

We are a dynamic and innovative organisation at the forefront and currently seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Lead to spearhead their agile transformation initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing delivery capabilities, fostering collaboration, and driving efficiency across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Agile Delivery Lead, you will:

  • Champion the agile methodology, guiding teams in best practises and frameworks.
  • Lead multiple cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Faciliate agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups) with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align project objectives, manage expectations, and ensure transparency throughout the delivery process.
  • Mentor and coach team members on agile principles, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Drive the adoption of metrics and reporting tools to measure team performance and project outcomes.

  • Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Lead or similar role, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A solid track record of delivering complex projects within a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, Agile Certified Practitioner) are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
