About the Company

Our client, a growing digital consultancy, is seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of complex digital products and services.

About the Role

Working with multidisciplinary consultancy and client teams, the successful candidate will embed agile ways of working, maintain focus on delivery priorities and help teams overcome risks, dependencies and obstacles. The role will also provide leadership, coaching and mentoring while promoting user-centred design, continuous improvement and effective collaboration. This position offers the opportunity to influence clients and colleagues, share specialist delivery expertise and continue developing as a people and team leader. The advertised salary range reflects the entry point and progression available within this level.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of complex digital products, services and projects.
  • Embed appropriate agile and lean ways of working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, retrospectives, show-and-tells and other delivery ceremonies.
  • Build and maintain motivated, collaborative and effective delivery teams.
  • Identify delivery obstacles and support teams in resolving them.
  • Track and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Keep teams focused on agreed priorities and delivery outcomes.
  • Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement across delivery teams.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues in the effective use of agile and lean tools and techniques.
  • Lead consultancy teams and hybrid teams comprising client and consultancy personnel.
  • Build strong relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders.
  • Advocate for user-centred design principles throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Use collaboration and project management tools to support transparent and effective delivery.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience delivering complex digital projects.
  • Strong knowledge of agile project management and delivery practices, such as Scrum, Lean, DSDM or APMG approaches.
  • Experience leading teams of different sizes and configurations.
  • Experience managing fully resourced consultancy teams and hybrid client-consultancy teams.
  • Proficiency with collaboration and project management tools.
  • Understanding of user-centred design principles and practices.
  • Ability to coach, mentor and support colleagues in improving delivery performance.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work from office or client locations for at least two days per week, depending on client requirements.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary: £57,500–£66,000 per annum
