On behalf of the Infected Blood Compensation Authority we are looking for a Senior Agile Delivery Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract. Hybrid working with 2-3 days per week in Newcastle.
As a Senior Agile Delivery Manager you will work with your team to champion agile and lean ways of working and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
This role involves:

Helping your team collaborate effectively in a fast paced, transparent, multi-disciplined environment that is working at scale with multiple delivery teams.

Being core at breaking down barriers for your team, and both planning at a higher level and getting into the details to make things happen, whilst working on unblocking dependencies with other teams.

Being an active member of the delivery community of practice sharing and learning with others
As a Senior Agile Delivery Manager your main responsibilities will be to:
- Lead delivery across complex programmes involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Champion Agile and Lean principles, driving continuous improvement across teams.
- Help multidisciplinary teams plan, organise and deliver work effectively.
- Remove blockers and manage dependencies to keep delivery on track.
- Provide meaningful delivery metrics and reporting to support informed decision-making.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and psychologically safe team environment.
- Identify, manage and mitigate risks, issues and delivery challenges.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across IBCA and wider business areas.
- Coach and support teams to improve capability, efficiency and performance.
- Contribute to the Delivery Community of Practice by sharing knowledge and best practice.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience delivering digital products and services in Agile environments.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within large, complex organisations.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices, including Scrum, Kanban and Lean principles.
- Experience managing competing priorities in fast-paced and evolving environments.
- The ability to plan delivery outcomes while dealing with uncertainty and change.
- Experience managing risks, dependencies and blockers across multiple teams.
- A track record of building high-performing teams and promoting psychological safety.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- A proactive approach to learning, development and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, facilitation and coaching abilities.
