Senior Agile Delivery Manager

Salary: £57,500–£66,000 per year

Location: London

Working Arrangement: Home, office and client-site working; flexibility to work on-site at least 2 days per week, depending on client requirements

Overview

Our client, a digital services consultancy, is looking for a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering complex digital products and services.

You’ll embed Agile ways of working, help teams overcome delivery obstacles, manage risks and dependencies, and keep delivery focused on agreed priorities. As a senior member of the delivery community, you’ll also coach and mentor colleagues, influence clients and stakeholders, and support continuous improvement.

The advertised salary band represents the entry point for this level, with progression within the role supported.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support multidisciplinary teams delivering digital products and services.
  • Embed effective Agile ways of working across delivery teams.
  • Identify delivery obstacles and help teams overcome them.
  • Facilitate and track risks and dependencies.
  • Keep teams focused on priorities and successful delivery outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement across delivery teams.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues in appropriate Agile and Lean tools and techniques.
  • Build strong relationships with teams, clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering complex digital projects.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of Agile project management and working practices, including Scrum, Lean, DSDM and APMG approaches.
  • Experience leading teams of different sizes and configurations, including blended consultancy and client teams.
  • Experience using collaboration and project management tools.
  • Understanding of user-centred design principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Formal certificates or qualifications are not required.
