Senior Agile Delivery Manager – HMRC Consultancy Engagement
Senior Consultant Level
Central government experience essential, HMRC experience beneficial
£355 per day inside IR35
3 month initial contract
100% remote, must be UK based
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Agile Delivery Manager to join a consultancy delivering a key programme of work for HMRC.
This is a hands-on delivery role, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders to maintain momentum, remove blockers, and ensure complex outcomes are delivered effectively.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading multidisciplinary teams through the full delivery lifecycle
- Creating clear delivery plans and maintaining focus on priorities
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies and embedding effective ways of working
- Managing dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery blockers
- Providing accurate reporting and assurance to senior stakeholders
- Building strong relationships across the consultancy and HMRC
- Supporting continuous improvement across teams and delivery processes
We’re looking for someone with:

- Strong experience delivering complex digital or technology programmes
- A successful track record as an Agile Delivery Manager
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools
- Experience working within a consultancy or client-facing environment
- The confidence to challenge constructively and drive delivery forward
Previous experience within central government is essential, HMRC would be highly beneficial.
