Senior AI Adoption Technical Consultant

Fully remote – Europe

6 month contract

€800-1100 per day

Expert Involvement

We would be embedding a senior AI consultant within our organisation for approximately 3-6 months, typically 3-5 days per week, depending on the number of teams and desired pace of adoption.

Technical Expertise

The consultant would have extensive experience across AI-assisted software development, GitHub Copilot, agentic AI, AI agents, software architecture, QA automation, DevOps, and modern engineering practices. We would select a consultant whose experience best matches your technology stack and objectives.

Example Activities

  • Assess current engineering processes and AI maturity.
  • Identify high-value AI use cases.
  • Introduce AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Deliver hands-on workshops and pair programming.
  • Build proof-of-concept AI agents.
  • Create AI best practices, documentation, and adoption playbooks.
  • Coach technical leads and internal AI champions.

One consultant would typically support 2–5 engineering teams (approximately 20–60 people), depending on the level of engagement.

Expected Outcomes

Typical outcomes include improved developer productivity, faster software delivery, higher adoption of AI tools, standardised engineering practices, and the development of internal capability to continue the AI journey after the engagement.

Commercial Model

This would typically be delivered on a daily-rate or monthly consultancy basis.

Candidate profile request

It would also be useful to see candidates relevant experience with:

  • GitHub Copilot and agentic software development
  • AI adoption across engineering teams
  • AI agents and proof-of-concept delivery
  • QA automation and DevOps
  • Enterprise-scale transformation
  • Similar engagements supporting multiple engineering teams

We would like candidates who can offer practical AI training sessions or workshops for software developers, system architects, QA automation specialists, and analysts.

We are particularly interested in training covering the following topics:

  • practical use of GitHub Copilot
  • agentic programming and Agentic AI
  • development and application of AI agents
  • skills-based AI and the development of AI skills
  • the use of AI in software development, architecture, analysis, and testing
  • a practical transition from using individual AI tools to an agentic software development model.

We are looking for practical workshops rather than theoretical presentations. Ideally, participants would work with real-life examples, test the tools directly, and learn how to apply them in their daily work.
