Senior AI Architect
£130,000 + bonus & package
Location: London (Hybrid)
I'm working with a global consulting firm on a Senior AI Architect hire for their Data & AI practice. They help major organisations get real value out of AI, not pilots and proofs of concept, but production-grade platforms that actually stick - across a range of industries.
The Role
- Own the architecture for enterprise AI platforms end to end, from winning the work, through design, to getting it live and keeping it running well
- Be the technical voice clients trust: CTOs, CDAOs, engineering leads
- Lead delivery teams and mentor junior practitioners
- Shape proposals and help grow the practice commercially

What You'll Be Working With
- Cloud and data platform architecture (Azure/AWS/GCP, Databricks, Snowflake)
- Integrating AI into core enterprise systems
- LLM gateways, orchestration and agent/tool control layers
- RAG and agentic architectures
- Evaluation, guardrails and responsible AI
- Observability for AI systems in production

What They're After
- 8+ years in consulting, architecture or AI/ML engineering
- A few of those in a senior or lead-architect role, with real accountability for design, delivery and commercials
- Bid/proposal experience is a big plus
- Master's degree or equivalent depth via certifications
