Job Description
Darktrace is looking for a Senior Education Specialist to join our cyber security training team. This is a customer focused role that leverages a combination of Educational, Technical, and Cyber Security skills to develop and deliver the best learning experience and maximize customer value.

This opportunity can be based in either Munich or London, and you will be required to be in the office 2-3 days a week.
What will I be doing
Reporting to our Director of Training (EMEA), this exciting and diverse role touches on all aspects of running a global cyber defense education service including:
- Instructional Design (Classroom, Virtual, eLearning & On-Demand)
- Instructor-led Training
- Certification
- Development of Educational Technologies
Training is delivered both remotely (online) & onsite with occasional International travel.
What experience do I need
- Professional fluency in German and English, with the ability to deliver technical training and answer questions confidently in both languages
- Strong practical knowledge of IT and cybersecurity fundamentals, including enterprise networking, common network protocols, network and endpoint security, cloud environments, identity, email security, threats and vulnerabilities, security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, security operations and SIEM concepts
- Demonstrable experience delivering technical training, workshops, product education or classroom instruction to professional audiences
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured and engaging learning experiences
- Confidence delivering demonstrations, practical exercises, and scenario-based training
- Comfort managing a regular schedule of virtual and in-person training sessions
- Strong organisational skills, including session preparation, learner administration, and follow-up
- Ability to work independently while following established curricula, delivery standards, and operational processes
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region and occasionally across EMEA
