Senior Data Engineer – AI / Data

London / Hybrid | £70k–£85k

An exciting opportunity to join an AI-led technology company working with complex data and enterprise clients across financial services and other industries.

We’re looking for a Senior AI Data Engineer who is genuinely hands-on and enjoys building things from the ground up.

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years' Data Engineering experience
  • Strong Python & SQL
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and PostgreSQL
  • dbt & data pipeline orchestration
  • Experience with Terraform / cloud infrastructure is a plus
  • Strong understanding of data quality, monitoring, and pipeline troubleshooting
  • Genuine commercial AI/LLM experience - ideally working with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, document extraction, or productionising AI solutions
  • Experience working in FinTech, Financial Services, or another data-intensive environment is highly desirable
