Senior AI Developer
Remote | Long-term contract | UK working-hours overlap
Pluro is looking for a senior AI developer to help us build practical AI-powered tools, workflows and internal systems across our agency.
We are a Shopify agency specialising in sports-led commerce, subscription systems and complex ecommerce delivery. AI is already embedded across our design, development and operational workflows, and we are now looking for an experienced developer to help us take this further.
This is not a prompt-engineering-only role.
We need a hands-on senior developer who can understand business problems, design sensible technical solutions and build reliable software that is used in day-to-day operations.
The Role
You will work directly with the founder and wider delivery team to:
- Build AI-powered internal tools and workflows
- Develop dashboards and reporting interfaces
- Connect platforms through APIs, webhooks and automations
- Turn early prototypes into reliable, maintainable products
- Improve how information moves across the agency
- Identify opportunities where AI can reduce manual work
- Test, monitor and improve the systems you build
- Help shape our wider technical approach to AI

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
