Senior AI Engineer
London (Hybrid) | Up to £120,000 + Benefits
Join a newly formed AI Lab focused on building the next generation of AI-powered products. This is a highly hands-on role where you'll work on LLMs, RAG systems, generative audio, and greenfield AI initiatives within a small, high-impact team.
The Company
A global information and media organisation operating across 170+ countries. Their dedicated AI team is exploring how Generative AI can transform content, research, and user experiences through innovative products and experimentation.
The Role
- Build and fine-tune LLM-powered applications
- Develop RAG and retrieval workflows
- Work on style, tone, and content modelling
- Contribute to speech processing and generative audio projects
- Improve existing AI agents and develop new AI products
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders
- Help shape technical architecture while remaining hands-on

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience building production AI systems
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, fine-tuning, NLP, and RAG
- Software engineering and system design expertise
- Experience working with content-focused AI applications
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
- Experimental mindset with a passion for AI innovation
- Exposure to speech, audio, or voice AI is a bonus
