We are hiring a Software Engineer to join the founding technology team behind a new AI-enabled equity hedge fund.
This is an early-stage build within an established investment business, giving you the pace and ownership of a start-up with the backing and infrastructure to build properly. You’ll work directly with engineering, quantitative research and investment teams, building technology that has a real impact on the investment process.

- Research applications, stock screeners and investment workflows
- Backend services, APIs and data pipelines
- Production AI and LLM-powered applications
- AI agents, retrieval and document-processing workflows
- Cloud-native, scalable production systems
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience
- Strong Python experience in production environments
- Experience with C#, Java, Go or another strongly typed backend language
- Strong API, backend and data engineering fundamentals
- Experience with cloud, containers and modern engineering practices
- An interest in LLMs, AI agents and building production AI systems

Previous hedge fund experience isn’t required. We’re looking for strong engineers who are curious, pragmatic and want to build.
