About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to join our client's dynamic AI team. This pivotal role involves designing, developing, and deploying production-grade AI systems with a focus on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and large language model (LLM) optimization. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of AI capabilities within the organization, contributing to innovative projects that require high accuracy, scalability, and real-world applicability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex AI systems that influence strategic decision-making and customer engagement, utilizing the latest advancements in generative AI and machine learning technologies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Python programming, with extensive experience in building and deploying AI/ML systems in a commercial setting. Demonstrated expertise in RAG architectures, LLM workflows, and related frameworks is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex, along with a solid understanding of evaluation methodologies for generative AI. Experience working within scalable cloud environments, particularly AWS, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to operate in a senior or technical leadership capacity, mentoring junior engineers and contributing to best practices in AI development. A background in deploying customer-facing AI solutions and familiarity with Graph-RAG and Databricks are advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Senior AI Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing scalable RAG pipelines and generative AI workflows to support the organization’s strategic AI initiatives.
  • Building solutions using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex.
  • Implementing retrieval strategies such as reranking, chunking, and retrieval fusion to optimize performance.
  • Developing robust and maintainable agentic workflows.
  • Contributing to experimentation and evaluation frameworks to ensure AI quality.
  • Supporting fine-tuning, instruction tuning, and model optimization efforts.
  • Mentoring junior team members, sharing technical expertise, and contributing to establishing best practices across the AI function.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into existing systems.
