Senior AI Engineer

London (Hybrid)

They are building advanced AI capabilities that solve complex real-world problems and are looking for experienced engineers who can combine strong technical expertise with a product-focused mindset. You'll join a collaborative environment where experimentation, ownership, and technical excellence are highly valued.

The Role

  • Design, build, and deploy production-grade machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI solutions
  • Develop LLM-powered applications including RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and agentic AI systems
  • Build scalable MLOps frameworks covering deployment, monitoring, observability, governance, and model lifecycle management
  • Optimise AI models and inference pipelines for performance, scalability, latency, and cost efficiency
  • Lead technical decision-making, mentoring engineers and contributing to architecture, code quality, and engineering best practice
  • Work closely with software, platform, and data teams to integrate AI capabilities into production products

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience delivering machine learning and AI solutions in production environments
  • Advanced Python skills and expertise with modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face
  • Experience building and deploying LLM applications, generative AI systems, and retrieval-augmented generation solutions
  • Strong understanding of MLOps, CI/CD, model monitoring, experimentation, and cloud-based machine learning infrastructure
  • Ability to optimise model performance and make sound technical decisions in complex environments
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
