Senior AI Engineer
London (Hybrid)
The Company

The Role
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI solutions
- Develop LLM-powered applications including RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and agentic AI systems
- Build scalable MLOps frameworks covering deployment, monitoring, observability, governance, and model lifecycle management
- Optimise AI models and inference pipelines for performance, scalability, latency, and cost efficiency
- Lead technical decision-making, mentoring engineers and contributing to architecture, code quality, and engineering best practice
- Work closely with software, platform, and data teams to integrate AI capabilities into production products

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience delivering machine learning and AI solutions in production environments
- Advanced Python skills and expertise with modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face
- Experience building and deploying LLM applications, generative AI systems, and retrieval-augmented generation solutions
- Strong understanding of MLOps, CI/CD, model monitoring, experimentation, and cloud-based machine learning infrastructure
- Ability to optimise model performance and make sound technical decisions in complex environments
- Strong communication skills and experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
