Senior AI Engineer (NLP / LLM): Legal Tech SaaS

Location: UK, hybrid/remote
Reports to: CTO (Permanent role - No Visa Sponsorship)

The Company

An early-stage legal tech SaaS business building workflow automation for a specialist area of transactional law. Its platform streamlines the drafting and management of complex legal documentation for law firms and institutional clients in financial services, replacing slow, manual, document-heavy processes.

The product is live, has clear product-market fit and is gaining traction with customers. The roadmap is ambitious and AI features are a core part of it, which is why this role exists.

The engineering team is lean and senior. People are expected to take ownership, stay close to customers and choose simple solutions over complex ones. The team works in Scrum squads with strong CI/CD, infrastructure as code and security-first practices. This role reports directly to the CTO, so your work has a direct and visible effect on the product and on revenue.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
