Role – Senior AI Engineer – FTC - 6 Months
Manager – Lead Development Manager
Location – UK Remote (must live in UK)
Role Overview
We're looking for an exceptional Senior AI Engineer to lead the design and development of our next-generation AI platform. This is a unique opportunity to build sophisticated multi-agent AI solutions that solve real-world business challenges, leveraging the latest advances in Large Language Models (LLMs), autonomous agents, and intelligent orchestration with TypeScript, GoLang and Python.
As a key member of our engineering team, you'll take ownership of the AI layer of our platform, designing robust, scalable and production-ready AI systems that prioritise quality, reliability and security. You'll work alongside backend engineers, architects and product teams to deliver innovative AI capabilities while influencing the technical direction of our AI strategy.

- Significant commercial experience developing AI-powered applications.
- Experience programming in Typescript, Golang and Python.
- Experience designing and implementing multi-agent AI architectures.
- Advanced prompt engineering experience.
- Experience building automated LLM evaluation and regression testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of AI quality assurance methodologies – Claude.
- Experience designing agent memory and context management strategies.
- Strong understanding of AI safety, guardrails and prompt injection mitigation techniques.
- Excellent experience implementing AI observability and LLM telemetry.
Desired
- Experience integrating AI platforms with enterprise systems and APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud-native AI deployments.
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices.
- Experience working with vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings and semantic search.
- Experience with cloud AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex AI.

Experience
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or similar work based experience.
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer ideally with a focus on media-related projects.
- Very good working knowledge of standard software development frameworks, techniques and methodologies.
- Experience with providing coaching and mentoring.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, contributing to the development of business scenarios.
- Knowledge of software development tools and technologies.
- You are flexible and curious in your approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional information
- Duration of the contract: initially 6 months with the possibility of extension – contract FTC (full-time).
