At WTW

Our Listed Equity team manages over $50bn in equity investment strategies for institutional clients worldwide. As we continue to evolve our investment research capabilities, we are investing in modern data and AI solutions that enhance insight generation, portfolio oversight, and decision-making.

Why Join Us?

  • Genuine ownership of the equity team’s AI and data capability — building investment-specific solutions that sit at the intersection of the firm’s broader AI programme and the team’s unique research needs
  • Real investment problems: manager research, portfolio construction, multi-manager oversight
  • Direct impact visibility: your tools will be used by the team in daily investment decisions
  • Gain exposure to senior investment and AI leaders while coordinating with WTW’s wider AI programme.
  • Help create a differentiated data and insight capability that becomes more valuable as the team’s knowledge base grows

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer to become the first dedicated AI specialist embedded within our Listed Equity business. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with investment professionals, shaping and delivering innovative AI-driven solutions that create measurable impact across research, analysis, and portfolio management.

Working at the intersection of investments, data, and technology, you will build practical, scalable AI capabilities while leveraging WTW's broader enterprise data and AI ecosystem. As a senior technical specialist within the Listed Equity team, you will:

  • Partner with portfolio managers, analysts, and researchers to identify opportunities where AI and data can enhance investment processes and outcomes.
  • Assess and map a wide range of equity data sources, including portfolio data, research content, manager communications, and third-party datasets.
  • Design and develop the equity-specific data layer, ensuring information is structured, traceable, and aligned with enterprise data standards.
  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines and integrations that automate data collection and reduce manual effort.
  • Develop, test, and deploy AI-powered solutions and agent-based workflows to support investment research, monitoring, portfolio analysis, and knowledge retrieval.
  • Collaborate with WTW's technology, data, and AI teams to align with enterprise architecture, governance, security, and responsible AI standards.
  • Document technical solutions and contribute to building AI capability and best practices across the investment team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
