Senior AI Engineer (Python, LLM, RAG) - £850 per day (Inside IR35) - Remote (Some occasional office visits - London)

Are you an experienced software engineer who knows how to move generative AI beyond novelty demos and turn it into robust, production-grade enterprise software?

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to partner directly with key business leaders and build high-impact, production-ready AI solutions across our global organisation. Sitting at the intersection of business strategy and core engineering, you will lead discovery, architect end-to-end architectures, write production code, and take total ownership of systems in live environments.

The Role

  • Build & Deploy: Architect, ship, and operate production generative AI systems—including enterprise copilots, intelligent search experiences, and complex agentic workflows.
  • Advanced RAG Pipelines: Design end-to-end retrieval-augmented generation architectures, managing chunking strategies, embeddings, vector stores, and prompt design.
  • Agentic Workflows: Build autonomous agents that plan and execute multi-step tasks within auditable boundaries and strict guardrails.
  • Eval-Driven Development: Establish rigorous testing frameworks up front to evaluate correctness, manage latency, eliminate hallucinations, and prevent regressions.
  • Enterprise Integration: Integrate modern AI tooling with existing data pipelines, APIs, and MLOps platforms while embedding strict security, privacy, and compliance controls (IAM, encryption, audit logging).
  • Operational Excellence: Apply sound FinOps principles to manage inference spend and token usage effectively as solutions scale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
