About the Role
We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who is experienced in building production-grade AI systems and modern software engineering workflows, particularly Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and Dark Factory / autonomous AI development environments.
You will work closely with engineering and product teams to turn business requirements into precise technical specifications and use AI-assisted development workflows to design, build, test, and deploy reliable software with minimal manual intervention.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI/LLM-powered applications and agentic systems for production environments.
- Drive Spec-Driven Development, translating requirements into detailed, machine-readable specifications, acceptance criteria, workflows, and test cases.
- Build development workflows where AI agents can autonomously generate, modify, test, and validate code.
- Work with Dark Factory / AI-native software development concepts, enabling highly automated software delivery.
- Develop and integrate LLMs, AI agents, RAG pipelines, tool calling, and orchestration frameworks.
- Design robust prompts, agent workflows, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails.
- Build APIs and backend services supporting AI applications.
- Establish automated testing, validation, CI/CD, observability, and quality-control processes for AI-generated code.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to convert ambiguous requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Evaluate and improve AI-generated solutions for accuracy, reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor engineers and help establish best practices for AI-assisted software development.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant experience in AI/ML or LLM-based application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and modern backend development.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, generative AI, AI agents, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and tool/function calling.
- Practical experience with Spec-Driven Development (SDD) or similar specification-first engineering methodologies.
- Understanding or hands-on experience with Dark Factory / autonomous software development / AI-native engineering workflows.
- Experience working with AI coding agents and tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI tools, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, APIs, microservices, Git, CI/CD, testing, and cloud platforms.
- Experience designing automated test and evaluation frameworks for AI systems.
- Ability to break complex product requirements into precise specifications that AI agents and engineering teams can execute against.
- Strong understanding of production software engineering practices and code quality.
