Senior AI Engineer
We are seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Senior AI Engineer to bridge the gap between advanced AI research and impactful client solutions. This role is ideal for a candidate with a deep, PhD-level understanding of AI/ML, agent base modelling, and simulation, coupled with a proven ability to translate complex models into production-ready systems that deliver tangible value to clients. You will not only advance our internal AI capabilities but also be a key technical voice in client engagements, ensuring our innovative solutions are accessible, reliable, and meet real-world needs.
Your role will involve
- Advanced AI development: Lead the design, development and implementation of cutting-edge AI/ML models and algorithms, taking the R&D technologies into market to meet clients’ needs.
- Solution Architect & Prototyper: Translate complex client problems and business requirements into actionable AI/ML solutions. Design, prototype, and build robust, scalable, and production-ready AI systems and services that can be deployed for clients.
- Client Engagement & Communication: Serve as a primary technical expert in client discussions, translating complex AI concepts into clear, understandable language for non-technical stakeholders. Understand client needs, gather requirements, and present innovative solutions and their potential impact.
- Model Deployment & MLOps: Oversee the lifecycle of AI/ML models from experimentation to deployment and monitoring in production environments. Implement and advocate for best practices in MLOps, ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability of our AI solutions.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior AI engineers and data scientists. Drive continuous improvement in our AI engineering practices, toolsets, and methodologies.
- Performance Optimization & Scalability: Optimize AI models and infrastructure for performance, efficiency, and scalability, ensuring our solutions can handle large datasets and high-throughput demands for client applications.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously evaluate new AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and research papers, integrating relevant advancements into our product development and client offerings.

Your Transferable Skills And Experience
- PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Significant hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering or research, with a significant portion dedicated to deploying AI solutions in production environments and/or client-facing roles.
- Extensive, demonstrable expertise in core AI/ML concepts and algorithms, including but not limited to deep learning, supervised/unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, classical ML, natural language processing, computer vision, etc.
- Proficiency in Python and strong experience with major AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, scikit-learn).
- Proven track record of designing, building, and deploying scalable AI solutions in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience with MLOps tools and practices is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior client stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to tackle ambiguous, open-ended research and engineering challenges.
- Experience with large-scale data processing technologies (e.g., Spark, Dask) and database systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
