Remote (UK) | £75,000 - £90,000+ DOE
Build AI That Makes a Difference
We're hiring a Senior AI Engineer to join an innovative and growing technology business developing AI-powered products for some of the world's leading organisations. Working at the forefront of AI, you'll help build scalable, production-grade solutions using LLMs, AI agents, cloud technologies and modern software engineering practices.
What You'll Do
- Design and build scalable Python backend services
- Develop AI-powered products using LLMs, RAG and agentic workflows
- Create APIs and integrations for enterprise clients
- Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
- Drive innovation and contribute to technical strategy
- Collaborate with a small, highly experienced engineering team

What We're Looking For
- Strong Python engineering background (ideally 5+ years)
- Experience building AI/LLM solutions in production environments
- Knowledge of RAG, AI agents and modern AI frameworks
- AWS and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Experience with CI/CD, containerisation and scalable architecture
- A curious mindset and passion for solving real-world problems
Bonus Points
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences or other regulated industries
- React or frontend exposure
- MLOps, Data Science or DevOps experience
- Familiarity with ISO27001 environments
