Role Overview:
This role is a senior, hands-on engineering position focused on designing, building and deploying robust AI applications end-to-end for enterprise clients. You will work directly with business and technical stakeholders, translating their requirements into practical AI solutions that can move reliably from prototype to production. You will combine strong software engineering skills with applied AI expertise to deliver secure, scalable and maintainable AI systems. You will own the full lifecycle from discovery and solution design through implementation, evaluation, production rollout and handover to operational teams.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with client stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into practical, production-ready AI solutions.
- Design, develop and integrate AI applications with enterprise data sources, APIs and existing systems.
- Own the full technical delivery lifecycle from prototype through production development, testing, deployment and release.
- Implement AI evaluation, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring to ensure quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, iterating on solutions based on operational metrics and user feedback.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for security, compliance, scalability, performance and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership within the team, mentoring colleagues and setting engineering best practices.
- Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs and delivery plans clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About the Candidate:
- Experienced software engineer with a proven track record of delivering production-grade applications and services.
- Hands-on AI engineer with practical experience integrating models into real products, ideally using patterns like RAG, tool calling and agent workflows.
- Proficient in Python, TypeScript or similar languages, with solid engineering practices around testing, code quality and maintainability.
- Comfortable working across cloud infrastructure, APIs, containers and automated delivery pipelines (CI/CD). Demonstrated ownership across the full development lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, incident handling and continuous improvement.
- Able to work independently in ambiguous environments, leading technical discussions with client stakeholders and driving solutions to completion.
- Strong understanding of security, data privacy and enterprise-grade reliability, performance and cost considerations.
- Prior experience in consulting, forward-deployed or client-facing engineering roles is highly beneficial.
