Join the Close Brothers Risk Team where you will support the implementation, embedding and operationalisation of the Bank Responsible AI Framework.
Working as part of the Controls Design & Oversight team our ideal team member will have previous experience in coordinating and administering the end-to-end AI governance process, ensuring AI use cases are appropriately assessed, governed, monitored and reported throughout their lifecycle with excellent analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day implementation and embedding of the Responsible AI Framework across the Group.
- Operate and maintain the end-to-end AI governance process and supporting procedures.
- Perform initial triage and review of AI use case submissions.
- Establish, maintain and enhance the Bank AI Use Case Inventory during the implementation period, ensuring a sustainable inventory management approach is embedded for ongoing BAU ownership.
- Assess and challenge AI-related risks including model risk, data quality, bias and fairness, privacy, information security, cyber, third-party and operational risks.
- Produce regular governance reporting and management information for senior stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for colleagues during the implementation and embedding of the Responsible AI Framework.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience operating governance, risk, control or compliance processes.
- An understanding of operational risk, non-financial risk and control frameworks.
- Coordinated governance forums, committees or review processes.
- An ability to manage multiple work items and prioritise effectively.
- Experience maintaining registers, inventories or management information reporting.
- An ability to document requirements, processes and governance decisions clearly and accurately.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence technologies and common AI use cases.
- Experience of model governance, technology governance or data governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of regulatory and industry developments relating to artificial intelligence.
- Professional qualifications in Risk, Data Governance, Audit, Technology or Compliance.
- DAMA, IRM, ICA, CISI or equivalent professional certification.
- Relevant AI governance, AI risk or Responsible AI training.
