The Senior AI Research Engineer will lead the design, development and deployment of production AI systems across machine learning, deep learning and generative AI. This role offers substantial ownership, technical freedom and the opportunity to help shape the future of defensive AI products used in highly secure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end AI Research, Machine Learning and LLM projects from concept to deployment
- Build and optimise Random Forest, XGBoost, deep learning and generative AI models
- Develop RAG, Fine-Tuning, Prompt Engineering and Model Engineering solutions
- Design secure Agentic AI systems with governance, monitoring and safety controls
- Own MLOps, model evaluation, deployment, observability and retraining processes
- Leverage modern AI Coding Assistants including Claude Code, Codex and similar tooling
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to translate cutting-edge research into production systems
