Senior Mobile Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer FM Service Provider M25
Up to £55,000 + Van & Fuel Card
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Senior Mobile Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FM service provider, covering a portfolio of commercial sites across the M25.
ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED AC ENGINEER LOOKING FOR THE NEXT STEP IN YOUR CAREER? This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior AC Engineer looking to take that next step and play a key technical role within a large FM contract. Alongside carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, you will act as a senior technical point of contact, supporting the wider engineering team and helping to upskill and develop AC engineers across the whole contract.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience within the Air Conditioning industry, with strong technical knowledge and the ability to mentor and develop less experienced engineers. You will be expected to share your technical knowledge, assist with complex faults and help drive consistent engineering standards across the contract.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a wide range of air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF, split systems, AHUs, and FCUs.
- Diagnose complex faults and carry out repairs to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
- Act as a senior technical point of contact for AC engineering across the contract.
- Support, mentor, and upskill AC engineers across the wider contract, sharing technical knowledge and best working practices.
- Assist engineers with complex fault finding and technical issues where required.
- Help maintain consistent engineering standards across multiple sites within the M25.
- Identify training and development requirements within the AC engineering team.
- Perform routine inspections, filter changes, coil cleaning, and system testing.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with F-Gas regulations and industry standards.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance calls across the contract.
- Complete maintenance reports and job sheets accurately using the company's systems.
- Liaise with clients, management, and engineering teams to ensure high service levels are maintained.
- Identify plant improvements and provide recommendations where appropriate.
- Take ownership of your workload while supporting the wider engineering operation.

- Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Company van & fuel card provided
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Overtime available

Requirements
- 10 years' experience within the Air Conditioning industry
- Valid F-Gas Certification
- Relevant NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration
- Strong experience within the HVAC / Building Services / Facilities Management sector
- Extensive working knowledge of VRV/VRF systems, split systems, AHUs, FCUs, and associated plant
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, and upskill other AC engineers
- Strong technical fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work independently while managing your own workload effectively
- Willingness to travel across commercial sites within the M25
