About the Role

Due to continued investment in ecommerce and marketplace growth, our client is looking to appoint an ambitious Senior Amazon Account Manager to help accelerate performance across Amazon marketplaces. This is a highly commercial and analytical role offering the opportunity to influence product performance, merchandising strategy, portfolio growth and new product development within a rapidly evolving ecommerce environment.

Our client is a growing international business with a strong focus on digital innovation, data-driven decision making and marketplace excellence. As Amazon continues to play an increasingly strategic role within the wider organisation, the Senior Amazon Account Manager will become a key contributor to future growth, working cross-functionally with category, marketing, pricing, supply chain and advertising teams.

The Senior Amazon Account Manager will combine commercial thinking, marketplace expertise and analytical capability to identify growth opportunities, improve conversion and maximise revenue performance across both 1P and 3P environments.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Amazon Account Manager will:

  • Develop and execute Amazon merchandising strategies across Vendor Central and Seller Central
  • Drive traffic, conversion and revenue growth through data-led decision making
  • Support the successful launch of new products and category expansion initiatives
  • Identify portfolio gaps and commercial opportunities across Amazon marketplaces
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align merchandising activity with wider business objectives

Amazon Growth & Merchandising Strategy

The Senior Amazon Account Manager will:

  • Develop go-to-market plans and merchandising strategies across Amazon channels
  • Optimise product visibility, conversion and overall marketplace performance
  • Support assortment planning and new product introductions
  • Identify growth opportunities through market, category and customer analysis
  • Improve product discoverability through keyword optimisation and content enhancements

Performance Analysis & Optimisation

The role requires:

  • Monitoring revenue, conversion and content performance
  • Analysing keyword, search and competitive data to identify opportunities
  • Implementing corrective actions to improve performance metrics
  • Leveraging tools such as Helium 10, SmartScout and similar marketplace platforms
  • Applying AI-driven tools and emerging technology to improve decision-making and efficiency

Cross-Functional Collaboration

The Senior Amazon Account Manager will:

  • Partner with category management, pricing, marketing and supply chain teams
  • Support advertising and content teams in executing growth initiatives
  • Help align product launches, inventory planning and promotional activities
  • Share insights and recommendations with senior stakeholders
  • Drive collaboration across multiple business functions to maximise marketplace success

Vendor Management & Marketplace Excellence

The role requires:

  • Maintaining strong relationships with Amazon support and service teams
  • Supporting Seller Central and Vendor Central operations
  • Leveraging Amazon programmes and services to unlock growth opportunities
  • Monitoring industry trends, competitive activity and emerging marketplace best practices
  • Ensuring a best-in-class customer and marketplace experience

Essential Skills

The successful Senior Amazon Account Manager will demonstrate:

  • Strong experience within Amazon merchandising, ecommerce or marketplace management
  • Strong Vendor Central and Seller Central expertise
  • Experience driving revenue growth through marketplace optimisation
  • Excellent analytical and commercial decision-making skills
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and data analysis experience
  • Strong understanding of keyword optimisation, content performance and conversion enhancement
  • Experience using marketplace analytics tools such as Helium 10, SmartScout or similar platforms
  • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
