Senior Amazon Advertising Manager
Patrick Murray and 3Search are working with a market-leading consumer goods business to recruit a Senior Amazon Advertising Manager.
Salary: £55-65k
Location & Working Model: Manchester, 2 days a week
Key Role Feature: Own Amazon Advertising strategy, retail media performance, and digital shelf optimisation across the UK & EMEA
Our client is a rapidly growing international consumer brand with a strong presence across ecommerce and retail channels. As investment into digital commerce continues to accelerate, the business is looking to appoint a commercially minded Senior Amazon Advertising Manager to drive retail media performance, enhance digital shelf execution, and unlock further growth across Amazon and key online retailers.
This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of Amazon Advertising, ecommerce strategy, and digital shelf optimisation. The successful Senior Amazon Advertising Manager will work closely with sales, marketing, agency, and ecommerce teams to ensure the business is maximising visibility, traffic, conversion, and profitability across Amazon, Zooplus, Ocado, and other strategic ecommerce partners.
Responsibilities
The Senior Amazon Advertising Manager will:
- Lead Amazon Advertising strategy across the UK and EMEA markets
- Manage agency relationships, ensuring clear objectives, accountability, and performance against KPIs
- Own Amazon Ads campaign performance and measurement frameworks
- Drive alignment between ecommerce, sales, and marketing teams
- Identify opportunities to improve traffic, conversion, ranking, and profitability
- Leverage Amazon Marketing Cloud to create audience strategies and competitive advantages
The Senior Amazon Advertising Manager will:
- Lead Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and wider Amazon Ads initiatives
- Manage advertising budgets and investment strategies
- Analyse campaign performance, category benchmarks, and competitive activity
- Deliver regular performance reporting and actionable recommendations
- Identify opportunities to improve ROI and acquire new-to-brand customers
- Keep pace with developments across Amazon Ads, retail media, and ecommerce technology
- Ownership of digital shelf strategy across Amazon and key online retailers
- Identification of listing optimisation opportunities across product pages, Brand Stores, and A+ Content
- Measurement of digital shelf performance using platforms such as Stackline, Beet, Pacvue, or similar tools
- Delivery of SEO optimisation through keyword research and competitive analysis
- Development and execution of content testing programmes
- Collaboration with marketing and creative teams to improve ecommerce content performance

Product Launches & Ecommerce Growth
The Senior Amazon Advertising Manager will:
- Support successful product launches with strong SEO and content strategies
- Ensure content is localised and optimised for European markets
- Analyse performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to maximise launch success
- Drive conversion optimisation and traffic growth across ecommerce channels
Requirements
The successful Senior Amazon Advertising Manager will demonstrate:
- Very strong Amazon Advertising or retail media experience
- Experience managing Amazon Advertising strategy and paid media investment
- Strong understanding of Amazon Ads campaign creation and optimisation
- Experience managing agency partnerships and stakeholder relationships
- Proven ability to improve digital shelf performance through SEO and content optimisation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and make commercially sound recommendations
- Excellent communication and influencing capabilities
