Senior Amazon Marketplace Manager

An established Amazon agency is looking for an Amazon Account Manager to manage a portfolio of brand accounts, combining client relationship management with responsibility for marketplace performance and growth.

Working alongside specialists across Amazon trading, advertising, and content, you will translate client objectives into clear account plans, oversee delivery, and identify opportunities to improve sales, visibility, and profitability.

The Role

  • Manage a portfolio of two to three Amazon accounts, acting as the main client contact and taking ownership of daily account performance.
  • Lead reporting, promotional planning, product launches, and operational activity, while supporting junior colleagues and coordinating specialist teams.

Client Management and Strategy

  • Build strong client relationships, lead weekly calls, and provide clear updates on performance, priorities, and progress.
  • Develop account plans aligned with each brand’s commercial objectives.
  • Coordinate product launches, promotional calendars, and trading schedules.
  • Identify growth opportunities and turn performance insights into practical recommendations.
  • Support prospective client pitches and the onboarding of new accounts.

Amazon Account Delivery

  • Oversee product listing updates, A+ Content, and Brand Store submissions.
  • Set up and manage Amazon promotions, deals, and programs, including Vine and Subscribe & Save.
  • Produce performance reports and forecasts with clear commentary and recommended actions.
  • Monitor account health and proactively resolve operational and compliance issues.
  • Take ownership of escalations, troubleshoot complex account challenges, and coordinate the support required to resolve them.

Team Development and Collaboration

  • Support and mentor junior account team members, delegating tasks, reviewing work, and helping them develop their Amazon knowledge.
  • Work closely with senior account leads and specialist teams to deliver client plans.
  • Contribute to internal training, process improvements, and shared best practice.
