Our Compliance Team

Our Compliance Team is growing, and this newly created role will work alongside the other five roles in the team. Collectively the team ensures that the Firm and its clients adhere to all relevant financial, legal, and industry regulations, including data privacy, tax laws, and anti-money laundering standards, protecting the firm's reputation and financial interests.

  • Conduct detailed reviews of client files, identifying gaps, inconsistencies and areas requiring further investigation or action.
  • Assess whether KYC information remains accurate and up to date, ensuring client risk ratings continue to reflect the nature and level of risk presented.
  • Undertake sanctions and watchlist screening, including HM Treasury sanctions lists and relevant international databases.

  • Review client activity and transaction patterns, identifying unusual or potentially suspicious indicators for further investigation.

Remediation & Compliance Risk Management

  • Lead and manage KYC and AML remediation projects, taking ownership of identified compliance gaps through to resolution.
  • Prioritise remediation activity according to risk, materiality and regulatory deadlines.
  • Work closely with client-facing teams and internal stakeholders to obtain outstanding information and resolve complex documentation issues.
  • Refresh and update outdated KYC information, ensuring client records accurately reflect current circumstances.
  • Monitor remediation progress, maintaining detailed records and clear audit trails.
  • Report regularly to the Head of Risk & Compliance on progress, emerging risks, outstanding issues and areas requiring escalation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
