Join our First Line Financial Crime team and play a key role in helping protect the Bank and its customers from financial crime risk. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your judgement, analytical skills and decision-making capability will make a real difference. You'll be empowered to make evidence-based decisions on customer relationships, build specialist Anti-Money Laundering (AML) expertise, and work closely with colleagues across the Group. You'll have the support and flexibility to develop your career while contributing to important risk management activities.

In This Role, You Will

  • Conduct independent reviews of customer relationships where financial crime concerns have been identified, making evidence-based decisions on customer retention or exit.
  • Assess customer profiles, source of funds and source of wealth to support customer due diligence and financial crime risk assessments.
  • Gather, analyse and evaluate customer information to support investigations, risk assessments and case outcomes.
  • Provide AML and customer due diligence guidance to frontline teams, helping to support consistent and risk-based decision-making.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the Bank to strengthen processes, enhance controls and support the effective management of financial crime risk.

  • At least three years' experience in an AML, financial crime, compliance, risk or similar role.
  • Knowledge of AML, customer due diligence and financial crime regulatory requirements.
  • Experience conducting customer exit reviews, enhanced due diligence investigations or customer due diligence assessments.
  • Experience engaging directly with customers to gather information and support risk assessments.
  • The ability to challenge information constructively, identify key risks and solve complex problems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
