A prestigious US law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Conflicts & AML Analyst to join its highly regarded Risk & Compliance function in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established conflicts and AML professional to take on a senior-level position within a collaborative and fast-paced international environment. While this role does not include direct line management responsibilities, you will act as a key escalation point for the wider analyst team and play an important role in maintaining the firm's risk management framework.
The Role
Reporting to the Conflicts Team Manager, you will be responsible for conducting complex conflict checks and AML/KYC reviews across a broad range of matters and jurisdictions. You will work closely with partners, lawyers, and business services teams, providing practical and commercially focused risk guidance.

Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed legal conflicts analyses for new matters, clients, hires, and lateral partner moves.
- Performing AML, KYC, client due diligence, and enhanced due diligence reviews.
- Acting as an escalation point for analysts on complex conflicts and AML matters.
- Supporting the development and refinement of conflicts and AML processes and procedures.
- Liaising with lawyers and business services teams across multiple international offices.
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Significant experience within a law firm conflicts and AML function.
- Strong working knowledge of legal conflicts regulations and AML/KYC requirements.
- Experience handling complex conflicts and high-risk client onboarding matters.
- Excellent analytical, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members would be advantageous.
