Are you an experienced Analog IC Design Engineer looking for your next challenge, with the added benefits of flexible hybrid working? This is an opportunity for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join a long-established and world-leading R&D company based in Southampton, with the option to work from the office every other week.

Please note that this role is subject to UK Security Clearance requirements. To be considered, candidates must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).

As the Senior Analog IC Design Engineer, you will enjoy working as a key member of a friendly team with deep expertise in the design and manufacture of advanced infrared detector semiconductors. Working at transistor, cell or block level, you will have the opportunity to translate design requirements into verified design solutions quickly and accurately to achieve the specification and project schedule.

Key Requirements Include

  • A BSc / MSc degree (or higher) in Electronics Engineering or Physics with Electronics
  • A number of years’ experience within Analog IC Design, with the ability to use industry standard IC design tools (Cadence preferred) for schematic design, simulation, physical layout and verification
  • CMOS technology and foundry process knowledge
  • Experience in transistor/block level layout design
  • A great team-work attitude, and ability to mentor more junior members of the IC design team

Any additional background experience or knowledge within CMOS image sensors would be a definite plus, but by no means essential.
