Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Senior analysts at Sigma7 Business Intelligence spend the majority of their time researching and analyzing information to create a bespoke response to a client brief. Senior Analysts work across both the Transactions Advisory and Disputes Advisory practices, with the option of focusing on one as experience is achieved. Senior Analysts work with incomplete and potentially biased information spanning multiple jurisdictions and provide nuanced analysis of complicated events and issues relating to international business, politics, and regulatory affairs. With the support of a case manager, Senior Analysts suggest new avenues for research and identify areas where human sources may be able to supplement publicly available information. If Senior Analysts do not already have specific regional or industrial expertise, it will begin to develop, although case portfolios will remain fluid across jurisdictions and industry.

Senior analysts report to the Director of Research or similar executive position, and work with a variety of case managers on individual assignments.

  • Draft written reports on findings and present these orally to managers and clients as required.
