SENIOR ANALYST
Salary up to £75,000 + Bonus
Hybrid working (3 days a week in-office)
Location: London
Harnham are working with a growing UK consumer lending business to recruit a Senior Analyst within their Credit Risk and Commercial Strategy function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing analytics team and play a key role in driving business growth, portfolio performance, and customer outcomes.

The Role
This role sits within a commercially focused analytics function and offers the opportunity to influence both lending strategy and business growth. You will use data-driven insights to optimise portfolio performance, support new product initiatives, and help shape the future direction of the lending business. Specifically, you can expect to be involved in:
- Developing and optimising acquisition and existing customer lending strategies.
- Analysing portfolio performance, customer behaviour, affordability, and credit risk metrics.
- Supporting pricing, product, and profitability analysis across lending products.
- Leading strategic growth projects and identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance.
- Using data and analytics to enhance decision-making and support new product development.

Skills and Experience
The successful Senior Analyst must have the following skills and experience:
- Experience within consumer lending, credit risk, pricing, commercial strategy, or portfolio analytics.
- Strong understanding of lending portfolios and customer strategy development.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Python or other coding experience would be beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to communicate insights effectively.
- Numerate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related subject.
Benefits
The successful Senior Analyst will receive a salary up to £75,000 as well as an annual bonus.
