Senior Analyst
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Work Arrangement: Three days in the office
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + 20% Bonus
About the Role
In this role, you will be accountable for:
Analytics & Business Performance
- Own and steer commercial performance reporting, ensuring senior stakeholders have clear, timely visibility of delivery against plan and the levers to improve outcomes.
- Translate complex data into decision-grade insight—diagnosing root causes, framing the right questions, designing robust analytical approaches, and driving implementation with the business.
- Set a high bar for data accuracy, governance and interpretation, converting outputs into a clear performance narrative with context, implications and recommended actions.
- Influence with clarity and credibility—articulating opportunities, insights and proposals succinctly, tailoring your approach to different audiences and building alignment across stakeholders.
- Lead the ongoing evolution of our insight and reporting suite, improving automation, relevance and usability so teams can act quickly on performance drivers and priorities.

People & Delivery Management
- Partner closely with Commercial, Finance, Product, Fulfilment, Digital and Technology to shape high-quality analytical briefs—clarifying objectives, success measures and decision points.
- Lead delivery through to impact—setting clear plans, managing dependencies and risks, and communicating progress, trade-offs and recommendations to maintain momentum and confidence.
- Role-model best-in-class analytical practice, coaching peers and junior analysts, and raising standards across insight, storytelling and stakeholder management.

- Advanced analytical and numerical capability, with strong commercial judgement.
- Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, simplify complexity, and connect analysis to business context, trade-offs and outcomes.
- Strong capability in Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with BI tooling (ideally Tableau/Adobe Analytics) to create clear, compelling, self-serve reporting that supports decision-making at pace.
- Experience using SQL (or similar) to extract, shape and validate data from databases; Python/R and automation capability is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of eCommerce/retail dynamics.
