Senior Analyst – Healthcare Strategy & Commercial Due Diligence
London | Hybrid | Full-time
Who we are
Mansfield Advisors is an award-winning specialist strategy consultancy focused on healthcare. We advise private equity investors and corporate clients across healthcare services, pharma and life sciences, and veterinary markets. Our work spans commercial due diligence, growth strategy, market entry, go-to-market strategy, value creation and digital transformation.
We work in small, senior teams and aim to give our consultants early responsibility, direct exposure to clients and Partners, and the opportunity to build deep healthcare expertise while working across a broad range of subsectors and transaction sizes.
The role
As a Senior Analyst, you will be a core member of project teams, typically working in teams of up to five consultants. You will own defined analyses and outputs, conduct primary and secondary research, and turn evidence into clear insights and recommendations. As you develop, you will take responsibility for discrete modules or smaller workstreams, with coaching from an Associate or Engagement Manager.
What you'll do
- Conduct quantitative analysis, including market sizing, forecasting, scenario analysis, benchmarking and business-plan modelling.
- Carry out qualitative research, including company and market research, review of industry and policy sources, competitor analysis and synthesis of expert interviews.
- Prepare for and increasingly lead expert interviews, identifying the questions that matter and drawing out commercially relevant insights.
- Analyse company information and financial statements, understand key revenue and cost drivers, and test the assumptions behind management plans.
- Build clear, client-ready slides that connect evidence to conclusions and fit the overall project storyline.
- Take ownership of the accuracy and quality of your work, including triangulating sources, checking calculations and challenging inconsistencies.
- Contribute to team problem-solving and present findings internally and, where appropriate, directly to clients.
- Support proposals, pitches and Mansfield knowledge-building, including development of sector perspectives and thought leadership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
