Senior Analyst – Advertising Strategy & Monetisation

Location: London, United Kingdom
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (Until End of 2026)

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading global media and streaming organisation that is expanding its international advertising business across multiple markets.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst – Advertising Strategy to support strategic initiatives at the intersection of advertising, audience strategy, data, product, and monetisation. The role is ideal for someone who combines a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem with excellent analytical and commercial thinking skills.

Working closely with Product, Commercial, Marketing, Data and Regional Business teams, you will help shape advertising strategy, support executive decision-making, and provide analytical insights that influence business growth across international markets.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role suited to candidates who enjoy solving complex business problems, working with data, and translating analysis into clear strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Advertising Strategy & Commercial Analysis

  • Support strategic analysis across multiple international markets, considering market maturity, commercial opportunities and regional differences.
  • Develop structured business analyses and market comparisons to support strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to advertising product prioritisation aligned with commercial planning.
  • Support monetisation initiatives and identify opportunities to improve advertiser value and revenue performance.

Executive Communication

  • Develop clear, concise and executive-ready presentations and strategy documents.
  • Translate complex data and analysis into structured business recommendations.
  • Support strategic deep dives and ad-hoc commercial initiatives for senior leadership.

Advertising Ecosystem & Monetisation

  • Apply a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem to support commercial strategy.
  • Analyse trends across programmatic advertising, audience strategy, targeting and measurement.
  • Translate advertising ecosystem knowledge into actionable recommendations for product and monetisation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support long-term advertising growth initiatives.

Skills & Experience

We're particularly interested in candidates with 3-6 years' experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Advertising Strategy
  • Commercial Strategy
  • Advertising Analytics
  • Revenue Strategy
  • Programmatic Strategy
  • Audience Strategy
  • Digital Advertising
  • Monetisation Strategy

Candidates with backgrounds in consulting, strategy, commercial analytics or structured problem-solving environments will be highly regarded.

Experience should include:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience analysing data to support commercial or strategic decisions.
  • Exposure to programmatic advertising, audience targeting, measurement or advertising analytics.
  • Understanding of digital advertising ecosystems including publishers, agencies, platforms, advertisers or AdTech companies.
  • Experience supporting advertising monetisation or revenue growth initiatives.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills for executive audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across Product, Commercial and Data teams.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
  • Experience supporting international or multi-market businesses would be advantageous.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools or modern analytical technologies to improve analysis and productivity is desirable.

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required.

  • Ability to convert data into meaningful business recommendations.
  • Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders.
  • A collaborative and pragmatic approach to solving business problems.

Please Note

This position is focused on Advertising Strategy, Commercial Analysis and Data-Driven Decision Making. It is not an Ad Operations, Campaign Management or Project Management role.

Candidates with experience in Advertising Strategy, Commercial Analytics, Monetisation, Audience Strategy, Revenue Strategy or Programmatic Strategy will be particularly relevant.
