About the Role & Team
The Senior Analyst sits within The Walt Disney Company Audience Measurement and Insight Research team and is responsible for turning audience data into actionable insight. The role helps stakeholders understand performance, audience behaviour and market trends across linear, streaming and YouTube.
In an ever-changing media landscape, the Senior Analyst will support TWDC EMEA networks and associated business teams with audience insight and marketplace context, helping inform decision-making across programming, marketing, distribution, partnerships and senior leadership.
This role is responsible for reporting, developing and tracking regional insights, primarily using industry measurement data from across EMEA markets, alongside dedicated support for the UK business. Analysis will cover programming and viewing trends across TWDC content genres, including General Entertainment, Family, Factual and Sport. The role will also lead or support primary research projects to build a deeper understanding of audiences.
This role will support the Research Manager, Audience Measurement and Insight, and works in close partnership with the overall Audience Measurement and Insight team.

This position requires someone to work from our Hammersmith offices 4 days a week.
What You Will Do
- Lead the delivery of performance analysis and audience insight across linear, streaming and YouTube
- Translate audience data into clear recommendations for a range of stakeholders including programming, marketing, distribution, partnerships and leadership teams
- Build trusted relationships with regional and global stakeholders, acting as a key insight partner for EMEA
- Support the Research Manager and Director, as well as running ad-hoc primary research projects to understand audience viewing behaviours
- Provide holistic performance reviews of TWDC channels and content, across platforms; including Television Audience Measurement panel data, Disney+, YouTube and any other available data sets
- Act as trusted expert across genres, delivering regular insights on audience behaviour trends in channel and content performance
- Use internal and external data sources to undertake analysis, identifying key themes and making recommendations as appropriate to more senior marketing or business stakeholders
- Working with local market research teams within EMEA, sharing relevant regional trends, best practice and guidance where applicable, as well as keeping pace with the evolving measurement landscape
- Liaise with global research team and represent the EMEA perspectives to ensure that insights support the business at both a global and EMEA level
- Ensure specific insights support the local UK business
- Build independent relationships across business functions and with local teams in the region
- Share day-to-day guidance and oversight of the team intern and apprentice, in partnership with the other Senior Analyst

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working within a broadcaster or media research company
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in TV audience measurement tools, e.g. TechEdge, Instar Analytics (Infosys)
- Experience with data visualisation, databases and analytics tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, SQL)
- Knowledge and experience of statistical tools e.g. SPSS, Survey Reporter, TGI is desirable but not essential
- Strong data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations
- Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills, including data manipulation
- Confident working with multiple audience measurement, streaming and digital analytics sources
- Knowledge and experience of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Ability to prioritise competing requests and manage multiple projects independently
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
