What You'll Do
As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Health Care Practice Area, you will deliver against the client and commercial priorities for the Med Tech business in EU and AP.
You will work in a growing global team, providing industry/functional expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis, and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.
Additionally, as a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage, you will help identify opportunities to apply generative AI and AI-enabled tools to improve how MedTech knowledge, analysis, and consulting assets are created and delivered. Working with consultants, knowledge teams, and BCG’s AI and product specialists, you will prototype and scale reusable tools, agents, and workflows that accelerate research, improve consistency, and enhance the quality of client delivery.
The Med Tech team at BCG brings deep industry expertise across IVD, Life Science Tools, Medical Equipment, Devices, and Supplies. We are passionate about helping clients in this dynamic and fragmented space strengthen their competitive positioning in an evolving market. Our work spans critical topics such as corporate strategy, M&A, go-to-market and commercial excellence, innovation, operational performance, and digital transformation.
Success In This Role Will Require
- In-depth knowledge of the Med Tech landscape, including market dynamics and evolving trends
- Strong understanding of at least one of these high-priority Med Tech segments: Cardiovascular, Dental, Diagnostic Imaging, Endoscopy, Ophthalmics, Orthopedics, Surgery
- Strategic and analytical acumen related to Med Tech; ability to identify market opportunities and growth drivers, experience in strategies to address market challenges, and understanding of innovation in Med Tech
- Ability to prototype, test, and help deploy AI-enabled tools, agents, and reusable assets, working with end users and internal BCG team to refine successful solutions and scale them responsibly across engagements, regions, and MedTech segments.
- Ability to translate insights into strategic recommendations for commercial execution and business growth in support of the go-to-market agenda and priorities
- Familiarity with key data sources for secondary research and expertise in synthesizing insights from multiple data sets to develop business recommendations

YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches in your area of expertise
- Breaking complex consulting workflows into clear components and translating business requirements into practical AI-enabled solutions that non-technical teams can use effectively.
- Rapidly building and iterating tools using generative AI platforms, incorporating user feedback while documenting methodologies, limitations, and best practices to support responsible adoption and reuse.
- Communicating with case teams and stakeholders, in a credible and confident way
- Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
- Being flexible and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas
- Navigating complexity and ambiguity
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of consulting experience in relevant MedTech sector required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred
- In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
- Fluency in English; other European languages spoken is a bonus
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
