The Commercial Finance Analyst supports Commercial Finance Managers and sales leads by providing analysis that helps shape pricing and broader commercial strategies for customer contract negotiations.

This role works closely with colleagues across multiple business functions to ensure commercial proposals consider key financial, operational, and compliance factors.

The position also maintains and enhances analytical models that support commercial decision-making and customer negotiations.

How You'll Make a Difference

The responsibilities below represent more than daily tasks. They are opportunities to make a difference, collaborate with talented colleagues, and contribute to meaningful outcomes:

  • Compile accurate and timely CAF and pricing analyses to support customer contract negotiations and commercial strategy development.
  • Evaluate pricing trends, market dynamics, competitive insights, and compliance requirements to inform pricing recommendations.
  • Support the development of AOP and financial forecast pricing for assigned customer accounts.
  • Ensure customer pricing proposals and bids comply with applicable commercial agreements, including MFN clauses.
  • Maintain, update, and improve analytical models used by the Commercial Finance team.
  • Administer metal pricing agreements, settlements, and hedging activities for assigned customers.
  • Deliver ad hoc projects and financial analyses to support business and commercial objectives.

  • Business degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Finance qualification.
  • Experience within a complex FMCG or manufacturing B2B environment.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and interpret large volumes of data accurately.
  • Advanced Excel modelling capabilities.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and self-directed working skills.
