About The Role
Join a team where your expertise helps shape governance, compliance, and operational integrity within one of the UK's most complex energy businesses. If you're motivated by solving difficult challenges, influencing decision-making, and turning regulatory requirements into practical business outcomes, this could be your next move.
The Opportunity
As Senior Analyst – Compliance, Governance and Integrity, you'll play a pivotal role within Business and Wholesale Services (BWS), helping the business understand and respond to regulatory, legislative, and industry change. Sitting at the centre of governance, compliance, and operational delivery, you'll support the frameworks that enable informed decision-making and effective risk management while contributing to EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain.
This is a hybrid role with flexible working arrangements. You'll be expected to attend our London or Exeter office as required for meetings and collaborative activities, while benefiting from the flexibility to balance office and home working.
This is a visible position offering broad exposure across BWS, Finance, Legal, Retail, Generation, and Net Zero Strategy and Policy teams. You'll support leadership reporting, influence governance activity, participate in industry forums, and help shape how the business manages compliance, risk, and operational integrity in an evolving UK energy market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
