Why be a Senior Analyst — Customer (Beauty) at THG?
As Senior Analyst in the Beauty Customer team, you will own analytical work that helps THG’s Beauty division understand and grow its customer base. Working across acquisition, retention, CRM, marketing and loyalty, you will build the analysis, models and insight that enable the business to make better decisions about how it acquires and retains customers. You are expected to work largely independently — owning complex analytical problems end-to-end.
As a Senior Analyst — Customer (Beauty), you will:
Customer Analytics
- Own analytical projects across the customer lifecycle — acquisition, retention, CRM, loyalty, marketing performance and personalisation
- Build customer segmentations, cohort analyses and behavioural models that the business can act on
- Analyse marketing channel performance — understanding what drives efficient acquisition
- Support development of the Beauty customer KPI framework
- Contribute to marketing mix modelling (MMM) — providing customer and channel inputs, and connecting MMM outputs back to customer-level acquisition and retention decisions
- Synthesise quantitative data with qualitative insight (customer research, surveys, feedback) to build a rounded view of customer behaviour

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
