Senior Analyst | Enterprise Risk/Risk Management

Line 2 Risk | 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: London

About Us

AustralianSuper’s purpose is simple: to help members achieve their best possible retirement outcomes. As one of the world’s largest pension funds, we manage over £200bn in assets globally across public and private markets.

Our international operations continue to expand, supported by a robust risk framework that underpins sustainable growth, strong governance, and regulatory confidence.

The opportunity

Australia's superannuation industry is navigating a period of significant change, shaped by increasing regulatory expectations, rapid technological advancement and evolving member needs. As we continue to strengthen our global risk framework, we're seeking an experienced risk professional to join our London-based Group Risk & Compliance International team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in embedding MORE (Member Outcomes through Risk Excellence), AustralianSuper's globally enhanced risk management framework. MORE represents one of the most significant risk framework transformations undertaken by the Fund and has high visibility with UK and Australian regulators.

Working closely with the Risk team, you'll help drive the next phase of implementation, refinement and operationalisation across the UK business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the MORE framework across the UK business.
  • Contribute to the development of key risk management components, including:
    • Risk Appetite
    • Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
    • Risk Taxonomy
    • Risk Reporting
    • Governance and Risk Culture
    • Policies, Standards and GRC systems
  • Partner with stakeholders across the UK and Australia to ensure risk frameworks remain practical, effective and aligned to regulatory expectations.
  • Support risk uplift initiatives and change programmes across multiple workstreams.
  • Draft and review risk documentation, governance papers and Board materials.
  • Assist with the implementation of new controls, reporting requirements and governance processes.
  • Provide effective challenge and guidance to first-line stakeholders.
  • Support with other day-to-day enterprise risk management needs and projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
